What is Powder Shade?
Powder Shade is a technique using a tattoo machine designed for permanent makeup you can choose a lighter makeup look called shading or a darker shade means multiple layers . This adds depth and a powder look a bit like wearing makeup. This technique is performed with a PMU machine and a fine needle is used to pixelate the skin for a shading effect. Individual results may vary due to skin type elasticity.

This procedure is perfect for people who would like to correct brow shape, add volume or fill in very sparse or over-plucked eyebrows, have gaps or scars. It is also suitable for clients with no eyebrow hairs due to Alopecia, chemotherapy, or other medical conditions that may have thinned the eyebrow hair. This subtle technique will create a beautiful natural-looking set of fuller eyebrows. Manicured feathering can have a dramatic effect on the overall look, symmetry of your face, and it will beautifully frame your eyes.

Waxing Services
At Le Beauty Secrets prior to waxing, we use an anti-bacterial skin-prep spray to clean the area. Waxing is completed using one-use wooden spatulas. Once your waxing treatment is complete, we apply refreshing and soothing essential oils to calm the skin and remove any residual wax.
Contraindication: If you are on Accutane, you should avoid waxing 12 months after finishing treatment.

What Can I Expect During My Treatment?
Step 1. On the day of the appointment, we will draw the desired brow shape in with a charcoal pencil. During this time, the customized shape and pigment colour is matched to your skin tone.. A patch test is done and colour and shape are mutually agreed upon before starting..
Step 2..Before the micro-blading begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort this takes about 30 mins.. If you’re worried that the process is painful, some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it’s relatively painless.
Step 3 . Follow up appointment is booked for 4-6 weeks post treatment to perfect and touch up brows if required.
How long will this process take?
The micro-blading process we use a special manual tool to draw on individual strokes one by one. It’s an extremely meticulous process that takes around 2 .5 hr hours to complete. Including time for numbing and mapping brow shape.
Is there any downtime?
The best part about this technique is that there is limited down time. There is some slight redness and swelling immediately afterwards for some. It will only last up to 24hours. The brows will fade about 30% there may be some slight flaking of skin as it heals.
